A road construction towards Wangthangka village under Wangchang geog in Paro has been stopped after four households whose land would be acquired for the road has asked for compensation. One of them who owned the maximum area of the land wanted to be compensated with Nu 2.5 million to construct a road through her land. Due to this, the road plan was dropped
